Certificate of Approval

Confident in the record of the TPS technology in Canada and around the world the Saskatchewan Ministry of the Environment has approved the PS2 Treatment Facility, under Approval Number PO06-104.
The Company is authorized to receive, store, treat and/or dispose of soils, sludges, sediments and debris that have been contaminated with the one or more of the contaminants listed below, and in a manner consistent with The Environmental Management and Protection Act, 2002 and Regulations, The Clean Air Act and Regulations and the requirements of this Approval. The list of these approved contaminants are limited to:

  • Pesticides
  • Herbicides Fungicides
  • Wood preservatives
  • Polychlorinated biphynels (PCB)
  • Pentachlorophenol (PCP)
  • Dioxins/furans (PCDD/PCDF)
  • Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH)
  • Coal tars
  • Creosote
  • Pharmaceutical wastes
  • Oil Based Paint Waste
  • Refining and Petrochemical Sludges
  • Other materials with prior approval of the Department
